PRODUCT
Special, non-toxic lubricating grease, containing PTFE and other white solid lubricants; Registered in Category H1 by “NSF INTERNATIONAL” (see http://www.nsf.org/USDA/Listings.asp?Company=N10201 – Reg. Nr. 127774), for use in industries where incidental food contact may take place.
PROPERTIES
Alugrease® AS offers outstanding load-carrying capacity, strong anti-wear, anti-oxidant and anti-rust properties, very good water resistance, superior low-temperature lubricating properties and very high dropping point, allowing effective lubrication in a wide temperature range.
The PTFE addition further increases the load carrying capacity, lowers the friction coefficient and provides additional protection, in case of unexpected stress due to high temperature peaks, overload, misalignment, elastic or thermal distortion.
PTFE is treated and sterilized with UV radiation to make it usable in the formulation of food grade lubricants
Thanks to its fully synthetic nature, Alugrease® AS can remain in service for very long periods, allowing complete protection and prolonged component life, minimising maintenance and repair costs.
APPLICATION
Alugrease® AS is recommended for high speed bearings (Speed Factors up to 800.000) running at very low or high temperature, precision parts and all sorts of components, even in severe sliding conditions, including articulations and universal joints, gears, chains, also in wet or steamy environment.
All residues of previously used, non food-compatible lubricants, should be thoroughly removed.
COMPATIBILITY
Alugrease® AS is fully compatible with all materials and seal components normally used in industrial machinery.
